First of all, I'd like to announce the creation of a web site for the golf league. The main purpose of the site is to make it easier for me to send out results and other information in a format that is easy to read for everyone. Last year, I was able to make everything readable for those people internal to NYSEG's mail system. For those outside the system, I did my best, but the new web site should be more readable for you. The early leaders in the Masters division are last year's winners Dave Armstrong and Shad Rafferty. Over in the US Open division, Gerry Place and Bill Mosher have taken the early lead.

Also on the web site is an updated player and sub roster. There are quite a few changes from the one I sent out earlier (including some new subs), so take a look.

In case anyone is wondering about our rainout policy, here it is: if the course is open, we're playing.

From the Drive for Show, Putt for Dough Department: Gary Simmons sunk a 30 foot putt on number 5 this past week to save par. After the putt went in, he was heard to mutter, "That putt was longer than one of my shots out on the fairway!"
