Well, we're halfway through the season and the races in each division are getting interesting. In the Masters division, first place team Deering/Richmond and second place team Bowman/Christopher have pulled away from the pack, but are separated by only two-and-a-half point. In the US Open division, Simmons/Prignon have opened up a six-and-a-half point lead, but the three teams behind them are separated by only half a point.

This week is the mid-year tournament and banquet. As we have done the past several years, we are having a four-man best ball tournament. This means everyone plays their own ball. You will take the two best scores (with handicap included) to count for your score. The cards will have your handicap strokes marked on the appropriate holes and spots for each of your best ball scores (note - the scores can come from any two guys - they do not have to come from each team or anything like that). Each team in the Masters division will be paired up with a team from the US Open division. Pairings are noted in the results for this week. Since this is a fun night, your scores for this week will not count against your handicap. We will have some prizes at the banquet for the teams with the lowest scores.

There will be a signup at the course for what dinner you want. The choices are Philly Cheese Steak or Marinated Chicken Breast Sandwich, and yes, you can only choose one.
