With only two weeks left, there are no changes in the division leaders. Steve Miller and Bill Scott still have a five-and-a-half point lead, but over a new second place team - Shad Rafferty and Paul Karakantas. Mike Steigerwalt and Don Beal have widened their lead to nine point over Craig Lamoreaux and Jim Myers.

This week we will be playing a makeup for one of our rainouts. By virtue of a coin flip, we be playing the first rainout from 6/28. Our last regular night, the 23^rd, will be a position round.

Looks like we'll have a decent number of teams for the year-end tournament. Sorry to those who have conflicts and can't make it. We'll all have a good time for you!

This week's golf joke:

A woman goes to the local newspaper office to see that the obituary for her recently deceased husband is published. The obit editor informs her that there is a charge of 50 cents per word. She pauses, reflects, and then she says, "Well then, let it read, "Fred Brown died."

Amused at the woman's thrift, the editor tells her that there is a seven-word minimum for all obituaries. She thinks it over and in a few seconds says, "In that case, let it read, "Fred Brown died: golf clubs for sale."
