Will anyone stop the juggernaut that is Gillette/Leahy? The first place team in the US Open division took another 13 points this past week. Fortunately for the second place team of Thomas/Carey, they also took 13 points and didn't lose any ground. There are three teams within 3 points of second, but then there's a 13 point gap between first and second.

Over in the Masters division, Walters/Boles (thanks to their subs) stayed in first place with a two point lead over Steiner/Mikula. In fact, the top six teams stayed the same from last week to this week. There are three teams within two-and-a-half points of the lead, so the race is much closer than in the other division.

I thought we were going to have no winners in the CTTP contest this past week. With the white tees having been moved back to the blue tees, the seventh hole was a little tougher than normal. My group was the second-to-last to play the hole and no one in our group hit the green and apparently no one before us had hit the green as the card was blank. So, of course, the last group to play the hole managed to put two balls on the green. Sub Gibran Baida hit it first and then Brian Bowman hit it as well, but couldn't get closer than Gibran.
