Over in the US Open division, the first place team nearly has it wrapped up as they lead by 17 points with just two weeks left. Jerry Gillette and Tom Leahy have led since week 4. The second and third place teams (Thomas/Carey and Place/Mosher) play each other this week, so only one of them will likely emerge with any chance of taking over first next week in the final position round.

I'll be sending out questionnaires soon to find out who will at the YET on 9/5 and who will need a sub. You'll be able to arrange your own sub, but I need to know ahead of time. Since we hand out monetary prizes for the YET, I need to make the teams as even as possible. You will at least be matched up with your partner or his sub, but beyond that, I can't make any promises. Any last minute subs that cause the team's total handicap to decrease will be accessed penalty strokes to restore the balance, so no last minute ringers.
