Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us for our first week. If it wasn't for the wind, it would have been a decent night. The wind, however, made it very cold.
The fun night winners were: In the Lansing division, Doug Boles and Tony Macera had a score of 35 to lead the division. Scott Bishop and Craig Christopher came in second with a score of 40. Over in the World division, Mike Steigerwalt and Don Beal came in first with a score of 39 while George Muller and Les Richmond came in second with a 41. Congrats to all and good shooting!
This week we will start our regular league play. Refer to the roster on the home page which contains the league schedule at the bottom to see who you are playing this week.
There are a few new players this year who will be establishing a handicap this week, so you won’t be able to figure out points for them until after the night is over. If you wish, just bring the card to me and I can quickly figure out the points.
A reminder about subs - please let me know who will be subbing for you as soon as possible. This eliminates surprises at the course and me having to re-arrange score cards. Thanks!
Our skins game works as follows - skins are for individuals, so for anyone wanting to enter, the fee is $2 per person. The skins game is for the whole league - no divisions. There will be a signup sheet and a box for the money at our table each week. If there are no skins for a particular week, then the money carries over to the next week.
Skins: Doug Boles/Tony Macera on #2 and Bob Knapp/Gary Mullen on #6
CTTP: Tony Macera - 32' 10" - three-putted for bogey
Long Drive: Dick Biviano
