The race in the Lansing division has tightened up quite a bit as Dick Biviano and Paul Karakantas have a lead of two-and-a-half points over two teams tied for second - Jeff Bowman/Gary Christopher and Scott Steiner/Pat Mikula. Last week's second place team took eleven points from the first place team, but still slip down into fourth place just a half point back of second.
The World division, however, is moving in the opposite direction. The first place team of Ed Dow, Sr. and Al Maccou accused the second place team of Kyle Thomas and Jerry Lisowski of being scared of them as they both had subs play this past week. Perhaps they were right to be scared as Dow/Maccou took twelve-and-a-half points and now hold a huge thirteen point lead over two teams tied for second place - Thomas/Lisowski and Jerry Gillette/Tom Leahy.
In addition to the position round, we had our mid-year tournment and banquet. Here are the results from the tournament:
