This week is our final position round to determine the division winners. In the Lansing division, Jeff Baker and Dick Baker have an almost insurmountable lead of fifteen-and-a-half points over Dick Biviano and Paul Karakantas. This means that Dick and Paul will have to take eighteen points to take over first place. The third place team is out of the running. Over in the World division, Les Richmond and George Muller had their lead reduced to seven-and-a-half points over the new second place team of Tom Sullivan and Jim Myers. Tom and Jim will need to take fourteen points to take over first place. The third place team of Ed Dow and Al Maccou have a slight chance if they can take fifteen or more points.

Next week will be a cross-divisonal position round to determine the overall champions. And, the first week in September will be our year-end tournament and banquet. I'll be sending out an email soon to determine who will be able to make the tournament so I can start putting together teams.
