There are new leaders in the Lansing division as Doug Boles and Tony Macera leapt over a couple teams and are one point ahead of last week's leaders and second place teams, Scott Steiner/Pat Mikula and Ted Kilts/Tim Walters. In the World division, Les Richmond and Wayne Sherwood remain in first with an eight-and-a-half point lead over the new second place team of Steve Tullio and Jerry Lisowski.

This upcoming week is our mid-year tournament and banquet. I will try to pair up everyone with a team from the other division - you can ignore the matchups on the results sheet. As we have done the past several years, we are having a four-man best ball tournament. This means everyone plays their own ball. You will take the two best scores (with handicap included) to count for your score. The cards will have your handicap strokes marked on the appropriate holes and spots for each of your best ball scores (note - the scores can come from any two guys - they do not have to come from each team or anything like that). Since this is a fun night, your scores for this week will not count against your handicap. Since everyone is playing their own ball, the skins game will work as it normally does. We will have some prizes at the banquet for the teams with the lowest scores. Our banquet menu is chicken breast sandwiches with mac salad and tossed salad.
