In the Lansing division, Doug Boles and Tony Macera jumped into the lead with a three point margin over the second place team of Craig Christopher and Scott Bishop. Meanwhile in the World division, there's a three-way tie for first place (Crooks/Carey, Sullivan/Myers and Miller and his subs) with an additional two teams just a point behind.

Hole of the week: #15. Jerry Gillette got a birdie, but scored a six. How's that possible, you ask? As his tee shot was heading for the trees on the left, a black bird flew into the way of the golf ball and was struck by it. The ball bounced into the trees and Jerry ended up with a six on the hole. Also, 15 was one of two holes where two individuals from the same team cancelled each others birdies. That's pretty poor course management right there.
