Congratulations to our two championship teams. Mike Smith and Tim Welsh had a big night and jumped over Dick Biviano and Steve Tinker to win the Lansing division. Ed Dow and David Dow also had a big night and won the World division by a large margin.

I have compiled some statistics from the season and listed them below for your amusement.

The year-end tournament will take place this week with a shotgun start at our usual time of 5:15pm. The format is 9-hole four-man captain and crew with teams formed by matching up two different league teams. A banquet with chicken breast sandwiches, baked beans, mac salad and tossed salad will follow. The banquet will happen rain or shine, so please show up. I have responses from almost everyone on whether or not they can make it, but if your circumstances should change and you find a sub, please let me know ASAP. Any last minute subs that cause the team's total handicap to decrease significantly will be assessed penalty strokes to restore the balance, so no last minute ringers. Also, no new subs.
