In the Lansing division, Jeff Baker and Dick Baker had a big night and jumped into the lead. Last week's second place team of Dick Biviano and Steve Tinker held their spot. In the World division, Scott Barron and Gary Reynolds stayed in first, but only hold a half-point lead over the second place team of Ed Dow and David Dow.
Matchup of the night: Chris Schwarz and Ted Carey against Doug Volbrecht and Jon LaRock. Chris had a good night while his opponent Doug struggled, with Chris taking nine-and-a-half points. Meanwhile, Chris's partner Ted struggled against Jon and only took one point. So, there were two people in the same match taking nine points or better, but they were on opposite teams. The total match ended up 10.5 to 9.5 in Chris and Ted's favor. One of the more unusual matches that I've ever seen.
