Danny Boles and Rick Walters are two-and-a-half points ahead of Mike Smith and Tim Welsh in the Lansing West Division.

In the World East Division, Tom Sullivan and Jim Myers have a one-and-a-half point lead over Gerry Place and Bill Mosher. In the World Central Division, Dave Trois and Rick Deforest hold a five point lead over Scott Barron and Gary Reynolds. In the World West Division, Chris Schwarz and Ted Carey are fourteen points ahead of Terry Starr and Ted Capogrossi.

Al Christopher and Steve Gobel have a three point lead over Jeff Bowman and Gray Christopher in the Lansing conference wild card race. In the World conference, Gerry Place and Bill Mosher have a seven-and-a-half point lead over Scott Barron and Gary Reynolds in the wild card race.
