I mispoke in an earlier mail saying that we would start golfing every week in July. That is still a possibility, but it is not certain. We are definitely not golfing this week - the women will have their turn. I was originally thinking that the one person per cart rule was what was preventing us from golfing every week. That is part of it, but what is now preventing us from golfing every week is the 50 person social gathering limit. I looked up the NYS restrictions for golf and I don't see where participants in a sporting activity are limited to 50, so it all depends on how "gathering" is defined. I sent my idea to BJ and he has passed it on to the Stonehedges board of directors. It is ultimately their decision as to whether they are comfortable opening up the course to full leagues as there are possible financial consequences if we interpret the regulations incorrectly. I'll keep you informed if things change, but for now, be prepared to keep golfing every other week for the rest of the season.

Macera/Boles hold a 1.5 point lead over VanOstrand/Anderson in the Lansing Conference and Evangelista/Evangelista have a 1 point lead over Dow/Dow in the World Conference.

Some quick notes for all the new members. Please let me know by email, text or phone if you have found a sub for yourself or your partner. That way I can have the scorecards made up properly. The closest-to-the-pin contest is only for those that pay the $1 fee. If you have not paid, do NOT measure and write your name on the card. If you have any questions about the league, the email I sent out a few weeks ago has a lot of details in it. Please check that out and if you still have questions, let me know.
